DRS Login Help

Before you start the steps below, please make sure you know your NetID and your UIN number. If you have an older i-card design, both your NetID and your UIN can be found on your i-card. If you have a newer i-card design, it will not feature your NetID. If you have a newer i-card design, and you do not know your NetID, contact the CITES Help Desk at 244-7000.

If you are having trouble logging into one of our web applications, please complete the following steps:

1) Go to the CITES AD account services webpage at:

Be sure to click the "unlock Account" button (see example below)

2) A window will open with a Bluestem login page (see example below). To login, use your NetID and Bluestem password. If you do not know your Bluestem password, you need to contact the CITES Help Desk at 244-7000.

3) After logging into the bluestem page, you will see a page indicating your account has been unlocked (see example below). NOTE: The message may also say your account was not locked. Either way, click the logout button on the right and go to the next step.

4) Now, go back to the CITES AD account services webpage at:

But, this time, click the "change Password" button (see example below).

5) You'll be taken to the password reset page pictured below. NOTE: You may be asked to log into Bluestem again before going to this page.

6) NOTE: once again, you may be asked to log into Bluestem. You will then be at the page to set you AD password (see example below).

* Make sure you uncheck the last two of the three boxes on the page.
* NOTE: The password requirements are listed at the right and will all be green when they have been met.
Change Password

Click "Set Passwords" to finish. You will receive a page indicating your new password has been set. If the new password fails any of the conditions, you will be returned to the page to try again.

7) Once you have successfully reset your AD password, go back to the Division of Research Safety's web site and try to access the resource you need.

If you have gone through all of the steps listed here, and still are having login issues, please contact the DRS Webmaster via e-mail. Please include the following in the email:

  1. Your NetID
  2. The webpage you are trying to login to
  3. The date and approximate time you last tried to login

Once we receive your e-mail, we will contact you and do our best to get you logged in.
